Day 1: 16th Jan

Drey assigned our weekly deliverables: Deliver low-fidelity wireframes and commence work on high- fidelity wireframes  Idea generated at evening standup call to carry out more research in the form of a Focus Group. Well, after the week 1 research carried out by the product managers and a separate research done by the product designers, we found that we were still missing out valuable insights from the other half of our user base (the authors - sellers). Published PDF document of research findings of last week and shared on the Research WhatsApp GC. Idea: Get 8-10 authors and have a focus group on zoom or google meet.

Day 2: 17th Jan

A product manager Theresa, was assigned to the product design track to oversee our tasks  7am call with Theresa to catch up 8am call with Victoria (Deputy Team Lead of Elite Shelf Startup) and Donald to talk about the data gathered from last week’s research  Subscription plan suggested (monthly renewal)  Getting early adopters  Better created user personas also discussed Donald Task: Keep updating the design system Figma file Started reaching out to authors for focus group idea discussed on Monday

8pm product design meeting with Theresa (product manager for UI/UX team) Created a WhatsApp group for the “Authors Focus Group” session on Thursday (19 th Jan)

Day 3: 18th Jan

 Team mates working on their low-fi wireframes (using the Whimsical platform)

Day 4: 19th Jan

12am – 3am: Victoria & Donald worked on creating the user personas. Victoria drew up the data and Donald designed it on Figma An unplanned WhatsApp call with some team mates to discuss some major decisions for the company Preparations made for Focus Group session later in the day 8pm product design meeting with Theresa (PM for UI/UX) 9pm – 10pm: Focus Group session held on Google meet.  Got solid insights from the mouths of publishers, authors and aspiring writers

Day 5: 20th Jan

Insights from last night’s sessions collated (Authors Focus Group): UX Research Product Designers finished their assigned tasks concerning the wireframes (lo-fi)
